At GALAB, we have an important mission: to ensure that our customers’ products are safe in order to protect end consumers. Every day, people consume organic apples from the region or coconut products from the other side of the world, while toddlers are supplied with baby food, diapers and toys. Whatever it is, we make sure that people can rely on the safety and quality of these products.

While our analytical laboratory was originally founded in Geesthacht in the year 1992, today’s headquarters is located in the city of Hamburg, Germany. As an independent and owner-managed commercial laboratory, we specialise in external quality control both nationally and internationally. This includes GALAB locations in China, Peru, Singapore and Turkey as well as representatives in the Netherlands, the Philippines and Ukraine. The product portfolio ranges from the analysis of food, food packaging, sanitary products, industrial products, and biopharmaceutical products to environmental analysis of substances and contaminants.
