YOUR TASKS

	Independently implement and shape ideas and projects
	Process analysis, optimization and management within and between laboratory departments
	Conceptualization and implementation of instruments for laboratory controlling
	Conceptualization of occupational safety and health protection measures, e.g. risk assessment
	Conceptualization and implementation of quality assurance measures, e.g. formulation of standard operating procedures

YOUR PROFILE

	Successfully completed master's degree in food chemistry (incl. 2nd state examination) or chemistry, PhD is a plus
	First experiences in this field, e.g. from previous work or internships in companies
	Very good German and English skills
	Basic knowledge in the field of gas and liquid chromatography as well as MassHunter
	Confident handling of MS Office
	High ability to persuade and solve problems
	Proactivity and a strong will to realize ideas and shape the future
	Strategic and analytical mindset as well as excellent communication skills

As Junior Manager Finance and Human Resources (m/f/d), you will complete a 24-month trainee program at our headquarters in Hamburg. You will independently plan and execute strategic projects and shape the future of our laboratories at GALAB.

In this track, you will go through the following four modules within 24 months: Processes, Occupational Safety, Laboratory Controlling and Quality Assurance. In each of these six month-modules, you will independently conceptualize and implement projects in the respective topic.

Containing these subject, this track is designed to develop you as a Junior Manager towards a prospect of a later position as a lab leader.

1-Lab Management and Processes

	Tasks and activities in the field of laboratories and laboratory procedures, laboratory organization and laboratory processes
	Lab value chain
	Process management / process optimization

2-Laboratory Controlling

	Financial analysis and planning: costs and profitability
	Lab cost controlling: material and personnel costs

3-Occupational Safety and Health Protection

	Application of health protection, environmental protection and occupational safety in the laboratory: occupational accidents, hazard identification
	Regulations, standards, laws and rules

4-Quality Assurance

	Standards, guidelines, procedures, formulation of standard operating procedures
	Legal requirements and training
	Control charts, external analytical QA
	Instrument calibration and monitoring
