YOUR PROFILE

Successfully completed master's degree, e.g. in the field of business or marketing
First experience in this field, e.g. from previous work or internships
Very good German and English skills, further language skills desirable
Confident handling of MS Office
Proactivity and a strong will to realize ideas and shape the future of GALAB
Strategic and analytical way of thinking as well as excellent communication skills

As Junior Manager Business Development and Strategic Marketing (m/f/d) you will complete a 24-month trainee program in Hamburg with an optional stay abroad at one of our international sites. You will plan and execute strategic projects on your own responsibility and shape the future of our chemical-analytical B2B services.
 
This track takes place in the fields of business development, strategic product development and strategic marketing. During the Junior Management Program, four projects of six months each are carried out in this track, e.g. in the following topics: Market analysis and observation, conception of a business field strategy, internationalization strategy and the conception of new business plans.
 
The goal of this track is to start a long-term development of you as Junior Manager with a prospect of a later career as a technical leader at GALAB.

1-Market Analysis and Observation
Observation and analysis of market, competition and trends
Analysis of GALAB‘s product portfolio, market growth / market share portfolio
Strategic business area analysis
Analysis of GALAB's positioning in the international context
2-Conception of a Business Field Strategy
Exploring local markets: optional stay abroad
Cooperation with our international offices
Conception of strategies in the target markets, development of a roadmap
Market and product positioning of GALAB, identifying unique selling propositions
Derive strategic development potentials for GALAB
3-Internationalization Strategy
Observation and analysis of trends, competition and market in the respective countries
Market and product positioning of GALAB in the international context
Market development in the specific regions /countries
4-Conception of a Business Plan
Application of collected data and insights of market analysis and observation
Strategic product development: Develop proposals of new services / product ideas
Formulate and implement an analytical and data-based business plan
Elaborate a business case, creation of szenarios and prognosis, Provide recommendations to management
