Living and working in times of Corona has become a challenge for everyone. Since GALAB makes a decisive contribution to food safety which, of course, remains required, we were already classified as a systemically important company in March 2020. An even temporary reduction in work and thus in staff was ruled out from the start. We have of course taken all possible measures to ensure that our employees get through this – unfortunately still ongoing – period safely. This means that the majority of our employees work from home, while the laboratory work required at our company headquarters uses a sophisticated shift model that takes the current circumstances into account. Nevertheless we are fully efficient. And glad to be able the usual service to offer our customers and still be able to live up to the responsibility towards our employees.
