Hamburg’s Alliance for Families and Family Friendly Human Resources Policy has awarded GALAB with its Family Seal. After a successful audit in respect to compatibility of job and family within a company, GALAB received the award in April 2015.
Compatibility of job and family – this is absolutely essential for GALAB. We support our staff in their various circumstances and phases of life. Flexible working hours or sabbaticals for mothers and fathers are a must at GALAB. The needs of employees with families are taken into account for holiday schedules.
Families and friends of our employees had the possibility to get to know the laboratory and work place at our new site in Hamburg Bergedorf. We threw a big party in June for our employees and their loved ones – our first family & friends day in June 2015.
Hamburg´s Family Seal is an award for family-friendly companies. Hamburg´s Alliance for Families, an initiative of the senate of Hamburg, the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trade, is supporting the Family Seal. The seal is being awarded since 2007 to market the advantages of a family-friendly company policy.
